Beans Reduce the Risk of Diabetes

Spanish scientists, having conducted the study, have proved that eating 30 grams of legumes each day, significantly reduces the risk of such a disease as type 2 diabetes.

In order to determine this, a group of 4,000 volunteers was collected, which were divided into two teams. Most of the participants in this project were predisposed to such a disease.

Over a period of time, participants in the first group used beans, peas and other legumes daily, while the second group of people completely excluded such foods from the diet. At the end of the experiment, it was found that the use of legumes reduces the likelihood of diabetes by more than 35%.

In addition, they contain not only protein, but also other useful substances that positively affect the work of the whole organism. Moreover, they are recommended to those people who adhere to a vegetarian diet.
